９月２日（日）、浅草で開催されたＧＥＩＳＡＩ＃１７は無事終了。私も前日から建て込み作業に入り、当日は早朝から作品の近辺に付く。開会式は村上隆氏、富野由悠季氏、蜷川実花氏、など賑やか。
写真作品の出品が３－５人くらいの少なさで、モノクロ写真は私だけだった。何人かの先輩、知人、友人などが来場。ありがとうございます。
若い人たちの作品が多いので、自分も会場内を歩き回って、面白そうな作品の人と話す。これもアートフェアの楽しみの一つであることを発見。また観客のポイントランキングが会場内にあって、人気投票できる。高得点の作家や作品を見に回るのも面白い。
でも私がテーマにしたジョルジュ・バタイユを知っている人はもうそんなに多くないのですね。その作品のインパクトも・・・。それは私が年を取ったからなのだろうか？
とりあえず、この展示の作品カタログを作って。ＧＥＩＳＡＩに来られなかった人たちに見せて回ることにしよう。
Geisai#17 in Asakusa ended. Everything was all right, I think. On Saturday,I went to the venue to build up my exposition titled Hommage a "L'Histoire d'oeil" de Georges Bataille. And on Sunday, I stayed around my displayed photo works. Opening ceremonies was held with short speeches by Takashi Murakami, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Mika Ninagawa, in hot atomoshere.
There were only few artists to show photo works, and I was only one to show in black and white. Thank you very much to visitors of my friends and acquaintance.
Me too, I walked around in the venue to talk with the artists that I was interested in. I found that is the other pleasure in this kind of art fair. There wa the central board of point ranking, and you could see the artists who get high points from audience.
But few people know the furious novelist, Georges Bataille, to my regret.
Anyway, I will edit the book of this exposition to show the people who could not come and see my works yesterday.
